A multidisciplinary background.

Coming from an undergrad in Computer Engineering and possessing a strong sense for visual design, I have about 4 years of professional experience in brand identity development, responsive UI design, front-end development, 2D game dev, and XR. This synergy between visuals and tech has often seen me in the role of a mediator between design and development teams. And my knack for problem-solving as an engineer means I tend to jump headfirst into exciting and unfamiliar domains.

So, in hot pursuits of dreams, I decided to pursue my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction at The University of Maryland. My time here has seen me dive deeper into the topics of of product strategy (bringing about true value innovation that meets all stakeholder requirements), user research (using contextual inquiry), interaction design (by critically assessing UI patterns), and inclusive design (through upholding accessibility guidelines and DEI principles).

Also, have I mentioned my lifelong love video games?

Games are incredible. They play a crucial role in combating social isolation, building empathy, fostering communities, and enhancing quality of life. As I progressed in my journey as a designer, I increasingly recognized the importance of user-centered design practices to ensure these experiences are accessible to everyone. To support this, I’ve explored various aspects of game design, including accessibility guidelines, game analytics, and non-visual elements like sound and haptics.
